Whiting powder (99.9% calcium carbonate) is a fine white chalk powder used in window glazing to absorb excess oil from putty, clean glass, and accelerate curing. It prevents messy smudges, removes oily residue without scratching, and helps achieve a clean, professional finish. Apply it immediately after glazing using a brush.
